Day Five: Better than we'd feared

It was freezing, windy, and wet in Yellowstone, but we stuck around and were ultimately glad we did, as we saw weird geysers (of particular fascination to Isabel)

and dramatic warning signs about the dangers of geysers (of particular fascination to Owen and Jennifer)

and the handsome, historic Old Faithful Inn
and bison
and the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone (Mark's favorite sight.)
All in all, very fun.  By the end of the day, Mark and Jennifer felt like maybe they were doing a pretty good job with this family business after all.

We celebrated Father's Day by giving Mark a Yellowstone sweatshirt, an Idaho Spud candy bar, a bottle of beer, and a shot glass.

The cabin was still a bummer.
